For a smaller or newer rider, Nova 5 Mini offers three speed levels starting at 10 MPH, compact 14-inch front / 12-inch rear wheels, and a 99 lb bike weight. X0 is also compact and weighs 99 lb, but it reaches up to 40 MPH in Off-road Mode. Neither is a toy; rider fit, maturity, training, supervision, protective gear, and a legal off-road riding area are essential.

Nova 4 is the more moderate full-size option: 6,000W peak, up to 45 MPH, 1,800Wh battery, 25–50 mile listed range, and 132 lb weight. Nova 5 raises output to 8,000W peak, reaches 53 MPH, uses a 2,880Wh battery, and weighs 158 lb. Nova 5 Pro goes further at 15,000W peak and 62 MPH. Choose Nova 4 if manageable weight matters; choose Nova 5 only if you need and can safely control the extra performance.

Published ranges vary by model: Nova 4 lists 25–50 miles, Nova 5 / Pro 40–70 miles, X0 up to 20 miles in Off-road Mode at 25 MPH, and Nova 5 Mini up to 20 miles in Sport Mode at 30 MPH. Trail range is often lower than a low-speed road estimate because soft ground, climbs, acceleration, and tire slip consume more energy.

F0 and F2 Pro list a standard 20 MPH Class 2 configuration and an optional adjustment to 28 MPH for off-road or otherwise permitted use. Changing the speed setting may change the bike's legal classification and where it can be ridden. Check the delivered configuration, Freego instructions, and local laws before changing any limit.
