I have ridden 285 miles of mostly dirt roads, some loose steep stuff, pavement and a bit of sand. I'm a former mountain biker and have never ridden a motorcycle so the brakes were backwards for me.
Keep in mind you're dealing with a huge shipping and warehousing system. You may experience delays. You may also think you're experiencing a delay while your bike is actually making its way to you. You might not hear anything for ten days then get an 'out for delivery' notice the day it arrives. I got a little frustrated with this, drank a few too many cervesas and accused Chris (one of the owners) of being an AI bot. He graciously informed me that he was not an AI bot. Very responsive!
Also, your front tire may come later...
This bike feels balanced and once I adjusted the shocks (cranking the back spring down quite a bit) they work well. It gets overwhelmed going fast over super rocky stuff. Im 5'7" 170lbs
I believe the front compression knob is a mis-labeled Rebound control knob.
Exhibit A: It is red like the other Rebound control knob
Exhibit B: It plainly limits Rebound if you mess with it
Exhibit C: They lazer-etched the word 'Comperession' instead of 'Compression' into the fork knob. Unusual, even for the Chinese.
I have no major complaints and the bike was pleasantly bigger than I anticipated. I have checked most every fastener and have found nothing loose or missing. Be prepared to do some tinkering, because individual terrain needs will vary. Whomever put this together was quite competent but I still spent time redoing all the cockpit wiring. I also made my own chain roller out of a repurposed truck bedliner because the chainslap was unreal. Same with my number plate, where I have added LEDs. I'll be making a skidplate out of the same stuff because exposed wires could be damaged under the bottom bracket.
The welding is generally atrocious, but serviceable, except for the all-important head tube, where you can tell a more experienced welder plied their trade.
Range has been about as expected. I live in the hills. I use the three modes like cruise control and you can get some good mileage out of the lowest power mode, cruising at around 18mph until you get to the fun stuff and want more power. I go about 25 to 30 miles and still have a couple bars left when I get home.
I'm stoked on this bike and it has made me love riding again.
All my questions and concerns were answered in a timely fashion. The bike is shipped in two different boxes. Rica was very supportive every step of the way. The X2 bike is well designed and quality material. Rides smooth and quiet. Great purchase!!! Highly recommended.
The N5 pro not only lives up to its expectation; with its power & performance, this N5 pro exceeds it... not to mention it's stylish. I have received more compliments than challenges. The N5 pro runs so quietly, it almost silent, and I've been enjoying every minute of my ride. The freego N5 pro is definitely worth the purchase!
The bike is very powerful and fast I have a lot of fun riding it the only downside is that my breaks came very squeaky but other than that the bike is great
This bike is a great bike for what I got it for and it’s worth every penny. The dual mode is really great for the city I’m in right now and the Power is amazingly good for a hub motor.
Man, where do I start this bike first ride so amazing dude suspension on It is great like I could jump on the bike. I love the suspension second off the speed it goes 60 mph. I’ve hit 60 on it. I am 5’5 125 pounds It is a little just very little talk for me. I feel like Richmond with my tippy toes so it is bigger than you say a falcon pro 79. It also comes with extra brake pads or the Allan fee is necessary for anything and a nice cool display that has colors
Bought this bike for my son, he loved it. I also own an x2 pro. Both great bikes. Service staff is responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend freego!
Got the bike a week ago, already put 100 miles on it and I love it, freego support team was quick and helpful along the way during shipping. Assembly was pretty straight forward, the instructions could be a bit more detailed for installing some of the smaller stuff. I get tons of compliments on it and haven’t had any issues with people while riding it on sidewalks and bike paths! highly recommend the x2 pro, no problem getting up to 53mph! the front and rear suspension is adjustable which is awesome too. I think my brakes are still wearing in, I would like to have more braking power in the rear. all in all 5 stars.
I just wanna take Rica for her outstanding Customer Service when I call she always has the right answers and I really appreciate someone like that. She’s a keeper. Thank you Rica for all your help.
I’m loving my X3 and would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!
Also, I was recently in need of my Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin in which Rica was able to obtain for me no problem…thank-you Rica!!!
The Freego X3 Pro is amazing for the price, the acceleration is great, as the hub motor is built really well and is huge. Even city mode feels fast just because of how responsive and the pure torque on this beast.
This freego x3 was 100% worth it. The range on this is insane! And the quality of the bike is very high quality, other of my previous bikes were nothing compared to this one. I would 100% buy this again.
this thing is insane. fast, heavy, and feels like it means business. not for playing around.
I’m 5’5 and a lot of ebikes feel too big or just awkward. This one feels much easier. I can get on and off without thinking about it, and the riding position feels natural. It still has good pull when you want to speed up, but it’s not scary. I also like that it does not take up a ton of space. Pretty happy with it so far.
survived the trenches of sudden heavy rainfall even though it says avoid riding in heavy rain good bike
quick, quiet, and easy to ride. honestly exactly what I needed for short trips.
got this mostly because my street has a bunch of hills and my last ebike struggled bad. this one actually pulls up hills way better than i thought. not a motorcycle lol but it got power. first day the brakes made a little noise but after riding it went away. been solid since
My son really like this bike, it is an electric bike, or i can call it a scooter. it fits my son's height and it moves really smooth because sometimes i ride it myself, my height 5'10", a little smaller for me but it is powerful as i am 202 lb weigh. I recommend this bike.
honestly this one was easy. got on it, rode around the block, figured it out pretty fast. no big learning curve.
