FAQs

It depends on where and how you ride. For off-road trails and high-speed performance, the Nova 5 Pro (15000W, 62MPH), Natkie N1 (8000W, 50MPH), and X3 (8000W, 56MPH) are our most powerful options. For a street-legal dirt bike experience, the X2 Pro and X2 Dirt Master both hit 50MPH with 6000W peak motors. Prefer city riding? The City Flow A1 (1200W, 28MPH, 60MI) is built for daily commuters. For younger or smaller riders, the Nova 5 Mini, X0, K1, and Mini Motorcycle M1 offer safer, appropriately scaled performance. Not sure? Our team is happy to help you find your perfect match.

Absolutely. Models like the Nova 5 Pro (15000W), X3 (8000W), and Natkie N1 (8000W) are engineered specifically for demanding terrain — steep climbs, loose dirt, and trail obstacles included. Even mid-range models like the Nova 3 and Nova 4 deliver strong hill-climbing torque thanks to their mid-drive motor systems. For motocross-style riding and jumps, the Nova series and X-Series are your best bet.

Range varies by model and riding conditions. Our longest-range models include the Flash F3 Pro Max (103MI) and X3 (110MI), making them ideal for extended rides and longer trail sessions. City commuters like the City Flow A1 offer up to 60MI per charge. Off-road performance bikes typically range from 35–70MI depending on terrain, speed, and rider weight. Actual range may vary based on assist level and conditions.

Yes — several Freego models are specifically designed for younger or less experienced riders. The Nova 5 Mini (2500W, 37MPH) and X0 Mini Bike (3600W, 40MPH) are popular with teens who want real performance in a smaller, more manageable package. For true beginners or kids, the K1 Kids Electric Motorbike (350W, 15.5MPH) and Mini Electric Motorcycle M1 (800W, 15MPH) offer a safe and fun introduction to electric riding.

For the longest published range, start with the X3 / X3 Pro or F3 Pro Max. The X3 lists up to 110 miles in City Mode at 20 MPH with pedal assist, while the F3 Pro Max lists 60–103 miles from its 48V 55Ah dual-battery system. If you ride fast or mostly use the throttle, expect less range: the X3 is listed at up to 40 miles in Off-road Mode at 45 MPH. Choose from the range measured closest to the way you actually ride.

Our X3 / X3 Pro is the fastest pedal-equipped option in this collection, reaching up to 56 MPH in Off-road Mode with an 8,000W peak motor. Our X2 Pro is a more affordable 50 MPH-class alternative with pedals, a 6,000W peak motor, and a listed 37–56 mile range. Those top speeds are for off-road or otherwise permitted use; pedals alone do not make a high-powered bike street legal.

Our X0 is the clearest compact option: its suggested rider range is 4'7"–5'9", compared with 5'3"–6'1" for the X1 and 5'4"–6'5" for the X2 Pro. The X0 still weighs 99 lb and can reach 40 MPH in Off-road Mode, so a shorter rider should also check control reach, low-speed balance, and whether they can move the bike without power.

A hub motor drives the wheel directly and keeps the drivetrain simple; the X2 Pro, X3, X1, and X0 use hub motors. A mid-drive places the motor near the center of the bike for more balanced weight distribution and strong off-road torque; Nova 4 and Nova 5 use this layout. Nova 4 produces up to 280 N·m, while Nova 5 / Pro lists 380 N·m. Mid-drive models suit technical off-road riding, while hub-drive models can be easier to operate and maintain.

Four-piston hydraulic brakes provide stronger and more consistent clamping than basic or 2-piston systems, which is valuable on heavier, faster bikes. X2 Pro, X3, and Nova 4 use 4-piston calipers with 203 mm rotors; Nova 5 / Pro uses 4-piston brakes with 220 mm / 200 mm rotors. Hardware still cannot replace safe speed, good tires, correct pad condition, and enough stopping distance.
